Jammu division Focus: Post-2019 Infrastructure Speed vs. Land Sinking
Since the reorganization of J&K in 2019, infrastructure project implementation has accelerated rapidly. However, the fragile young fold mountains of the Chenab Valley (Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar) are showing signs of severe geological fatigue, leading to unprecedented land subsidence (sinking) and landslide hazards.
